HOw does your pricing work?
Creating a handcrafted, custom art piece for your home truly brings me so much joy. From designing, sizing, cutting, sanding, priming, sanding AGAIN, painting, sealing, gluing & framing - these pieces take a lot of time, materials, tools & love!
I price my pieces with cost of materials and the time it takes me to complete it. A small sign might be the same price (or significantly more) as a larger sign because of the amount of detail involved: more intricate details = more time.
I also charge a non-refundable $40 design fee that pays for my time creating design options - even if you end up not choosing to order a sign. I also charge sales tax on all my items.

HOw does payment work?
After receiving an initial estimate with your design proofs, I will send you an invoice which you can pay with any debit or credit card. If you are business I do accept business checks. Paying the invoice also approves the attached design proof so check over everything carefully!
DO you start my project right away?
I will start your project as soon as payment has been received, and in the order it is received in. I will let you know how many projects are ahead of yours and an estimated start date.
why ask for my budget?
I want to give all my clients the best sign they can get. Knowing your budget will help me during the design process and suggest other options, material upgrade, accents, etc. Knowing your budget does not allow me to inflate my prices, it just allows me to know we're on the same page and how we can get there if we're not. I know that sometimes my prices won't fit your budget and I hope that you will come back when it does! You are paying for both quality and a unique custom art piece.
What is your turnaround time?
Right now my turnaround time is 4-6 weeks for product to be completed once I start. Sometimes projects can take longer that predicted and I will communicate with you if yours will be longer than 6 weeks. Also, some larger or more detailed projects can take up to 10 weeks to complete which I will communicate with you.
do you ship and are shipping costs INCLUDED in the quote?
Shipping will be provided to you separate from the sign quote. Shipping is unique for every piece and depends purely on your location and size of your sign. I do not control shipping rates and they may inflate around the holidays. If you are local to Whatcom County I will not ship and you will need to come pick up your piece.
HOw do I hang my item?
Larger customs pieces will include an easy to use two part hanging french cleat. I will pre install the sign portion, however you are resposible for the installation of the wall portion. Please drill into the studs on your wall for heavy items. I am always willing to give my recommendations but I am not responsible for any damages due to bracket installation.
Other items may include different types of hanging hardware, while smaller items are best left to command strips which you will be responsible for providing. I try and use my best discretion on hardware included. I am not responsible for damages due to hanging or from signs falling.

Can i return my piece?
I do not accept returns or exchanges as all items are custom or made to order. If I made a mistake on spelling, then please make sure to notify me within 5 business days of item received and I will fix it at no charge. If you approved the design proof with a spelling error and didn't catch it, then I will most likely be able to fix it with another charge for my time and materials.

DAMAGES AND REPLACEMENTS
Unfortunately some items will be damaged or even lost during shipping. That hasn't happened to me yet but it's a possibility. I'm happy to replace these items, but I do require you work with me to ensure this replacement. Please open your packages carefully. You must save all packaging, and send me the required photos for insurance purposes. In some cases you may need to drop your package off at an eligible drop off location. Upon completion of those steps, I will begin production of your replacement. Let's hope we don't have to do this!!
